MOMENTOUS moment of film aficionados, filmmakers, practitioners as well as academicians is the Eighth Annual Balinale. A series of workshops, film industry forums, free seminars and a list of screening show time will be made at the Bali’s newest cinema. The festival promises to be an entertaining and exciting event in celebrating the art of global cinema with a series of pre-festival events held throughout Indonesia.

Balinale will present over 50 films covering all genres of mainstream, independent, documentary and short films from Indonesia and around the world. ‘Celebrating Women’ is going to be one of the focuses throughout this year’s festival and related events. It features 21 Asian, 4 international and 3 world premieres at Cinema XXI Beachwalk Mall, Kuta Beach.
