CHINESE New Year is one of the most significant Chinese traditional holidays celebrated based on lunar calendar. As a result, the date is different each year from the internationally used calendar. However, it always falls between January 21 and February 20. In China, it is also known as Spring Festival, the literal translation of the modern Chinese name. Chinese New Year celebration traditionally runs from Chinese New Year's Eve, the last day of the last month of the Chinese calendar to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first month, making the festival the longest in the Chinese calendar.
Chinese New Year 2015 will be the year of the goat. Those who were born in this year are considered auspicious. ‘Goats’ are said to like to live in groups. Its personalities are gentle, calm, sympathetic and amicable as well as have strong sense of kindheartedness and justice.
